Registrar’s Office

The Registrar’s Office manages admission conditions, registrations, and the conditions relating to the continuation of your studies. This administrative entity also manages and maintains student records, from admission right through to issuance of diplomas. Here you can also obtain official documents, such as certificates, transcripts and a copy of your diploma.

  • From 17th of June to 23rd of August, 2024: Our service counter will be open from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00  p.m. to 3:00 p.m. You may also reach us by Info-ÉTS.

The regular processing time is five business days.

Important: if you are late in payments, no official document may be issued for you.

  • Standard registration certificate: $10
  • Non-standard registration certificate (with personalized information): $20
  • Certificate of completion of studies: $10
  • Official transcript: $10
    Unofficial version available at no charge through your MonÉTS portal. The official version is produced on letterhead with a stamp from the Registrar's Office.
  • Certificate of file study (remaining courses to complete your program): $10
  • Letter of confirmation of studies in French: $10
  • Official program and course descriptions (equivalency of graduation): $20
  • Tuition receipt: $10
    Also available free of charge through your MonÉTS portal
  • Income tax receipts (relevé 8 and T2202A): $10

How to retrieve your documents

  • In person: Once you have received a confirmation email that your request has been processed, you may come to the Service counter during the opening hours with a photo ID card.
  • By proxy: If you asked to pick up the document at the Registrar’s Office counter and you aren’t able to get there, you can appoint a person to pick up the documents on your behalf. However, you must prepare a proxy (In French). This must be submitted to us via the Info-ÉTS form BEFORE your representative comes to the counter.

Some situation require that you ask École de technologie supérieure to transfer an official copy of your transcript.

When it is another university, an employer or an organization that you mandate to make requests on your behalf (for example: WES), your must use the application form Demande d'attestation ou de relevé de notes officiel and pay the requested fees.

If it is a professional order, such as the Odre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or a partner establishment, in the case of a double degree agreement, the request is free.

Online request only.

  • Connect to MonÉTS and fill out the form that is located in the “Forms” section.
  • You can also use the application form (in French only: Demande d'envoi du relevé de notes à l’OIQ, à un ordre professionnel ou un établissement partenaire (étudiant en échange)) without authentication.
  • This request is free.
  • Except in the case where you must have your transcript translated by an approved translator, no document will be sent to you. We will send it directly to the professional order or partner establishment that you have identified in the form.

The ÉTS diploma is issued in one single copy. If you have never claimed your diploma, you can do so using the Réclamation du parchemin/diplôme form, only available through your MonÉTS portal. If you have already received your diploma, there are certain situations in which you may need to request a duplicate. Here are a few examples:

  • Loss or destruction of the original diploma;
  • Official change of name or gender;
  • Error on the diploma.

In these cases, send your request via the Info-ÉTS form.

Otherwise:

  • If you need an Confirmation of degree, you must make a request using the online form.
  • If you need a certified copy of your diploma, you must come to the Registrar’s Office Service Counter during operating hours. You must bring your original diploma with you.
