Laser-assisted cold spray deposition of aluminum alloy
The École de technologie supérieure (ETS) in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is seeking a motivated Master's research candidate for an innovative project focused on the application of laser-assisted cold spray deposition of aluminum alloys on aluminum extrusions. This industry collaboration project aims to make the aluminum profile extrusion process more competitive through the approach of additive manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be affiliated with ETS and will conduct part of their work there, but the majority of the experimental work will be carried out at the NRC in Boucherville. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative research environment, with access to state-of-the-art facilities.
