Daniel Forgues Scholarship for art, engineering and environment
ÉTS and Concordia University are joining forces to bring together artistic and engineering approaches, in order to raise awareness among future eco-conscious engineers and artists to commit to taking action in their professional practice. This scholarship program aims to open a common corridor of thought and action in order to raise awareness among citizens.
More specifically, the program aspires to:
- Create a space that favors the deployment of artistic mediation and creation by focusing on a mutually beneficial network between art and engineering;
- Innovate by opening up fields and contribute to the democratization of all types of scientific results, works and performances, and in all forms of artistic expression;
- Raise awareness in academic scientific and artistic circles of a path of understanding, representation and discussion around complex concepts.
Amount and duration
This scholarship is valued at 100 000$ over 5 years.
Eligibility criteria
This scholarship is intended for the student community of École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) as well as those enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Concordia University.
